In a way, I am more nervous about putting this last part up, than I was about the first part. The reaction to my story has been so overwhelmingly positive (as well as positively overwhelming) that I am worried that the conclusion might not live up to expectations. If the ending doesn’t convince, then the whole story is ruined and I’d hate to disappoint after everyone’s been so nice to me. But, as I can hardly withhold the last part just because I’m chicken, here it is.

Thank you again for being so kind and welcoming. This experience has truly enriched my life.

I just wanted to say a big thank you to anyone who is reading this and a special thanks to all those who took the time to comment. I was very nervous about posting for the very first time, but now I’m glad I took the plunge. It seems that Brian’s behavior in the last part caused almost more dismay than Justin’s in the one before. I can see the point. So, let’s see what you guys make of this one.  I hope you enjoy it.

I think I should have put a warning at the beginning of the last chapter. I thought it was pretty obvious where the story was going, but perhaps it wasn't or people were hoping it wasn't. With only seeing Brian's point of view, Justin is not looking too good, is he? Originally, I wanted to write the story from both their viewpoints, but it didn't really work and I couldn't find Justin's voice. Compared to Brian, he came over as flat. Well, let's face it: compared to Brian, any character is a little flat. I am still toying with the idea of writing a short companion piece from Justin's point of view, but it's becoming increasingly unlikely. The story is what it is.

I am hoping that this chapter will make everyone feel a bit better. I had a huge amount of messages and am struggling to do them all justice. Is it always like this? How do people have a life outside lj then? I am enjoying myself enormously and appreciate each and every comment. Please, don't be offended if I don't get round to answering them any time soon. Therefore, I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone here. I'm very touched. And very happy.

I really should do some work tomorrow. So, no update until Wednesday, most likely.

Anyway, here's Part Four:

The internet always astounds me. I am my own friend, apparently. Good to know. Here's Part 2 of the story.

Surprisingly enough, I seem to have cracked the lj-cut thing. So on to the posting.

AN: This story is in six parts plus a short Epilogue at the end of Part Six. I didn't divide it into parts when I was writing it, but I often read, during my lurkerdom, that lj does not accept long texts, so hence the parts.

Summary: Five years post-series. Brian and Justin are looking forward to Justin's upcoming move back to Pittsburgh. Or are they?

Warnings: Ehm, it's QAF?

Disclaimer: Mine, all mine. Yeah, right.
