Hi there,

just a quick word to let you know that I have converted all my fics into pdf files and uploaded them to the new fic upload site at [livejournal.com profile] getithere. I thought some of you might like a copy, before someone somewhere finds a way to stop everything that’s fun on the internet.

Update

Since Gina Marie asked so nicely, I thought I’ll give you guys an update on my writing.

I have written about 75K of an AU (slightly longer than Futility so far), but unfortunately, I feel a little dubious about it. Usually, I at least like my stories. I do kind of like this one, but a] I’m still not entirely sure where I’m going with it (normally I know where I’m going to end up before I start, if not how to get there) and b] I can’t really tell if it’s any good or not.

So, it’s less a matter of writer’s block and more of writer’s doubt. I guess I’ll just have to finish it and see if it stands up as a whole. I have no idea how long that will take because I have at least two or three chapters in my head still, and the writing on this one is slower for some reason. Of course, it might end up a victim of the delete button yet.

On the bright side: this will give some people the opportunity to catch up  -  yes, I’m talking to you, JoAnne! :-)  -  and all of you who feel overloaded by all the stuff I’ve been spewing out will have time to recover.

Later ♥

I finally managed to link all the chapters of my story together. I am always so insanely proud of myself when I master some technical stuff. I’m really pathetic that way.

Otherwise, I am still pretty much floating on the cloud of praise I got for Follow Me, Follow You.

I had this idea for another story and I have started writing it, too. I didn’t think that would happen. But writing a story is a bit like having a baby. The idea is the conception, almost - but not quite - as much fun as the real thing. The writing is the pregnancy and seems just as endless and full of anticipation. And the publishing is the birth, scary and exhilarating at the same time.

I’m just hoping that it won’t take nine months to push this one out. FMFY took only two weeks to write, but by that time, it was practically written in my head anyway. This new one has no ending in my head yet, just a rough idea.

Ah yes, and then there is always the naming of the baby. That is just as difficult as in real life, too.

So, I’ll go hibernate for a bit to write.

I'm so proud! I've managed to create an lj account. Wow! For me, that's a major achievement.

So, I've created this journal basically to post my writings. Well, writings is a bit of an exaggeration. I've written one fanfic so far. Don't know if I'll ever write another one, either. But, as it cut two weeks out of my life, I thought I might as well share.

It is a post-513 QAF story. I can't really tell if it's any good. I hope so. I kinda like it anyway. I wrote a premise to keep me on track. I do hope everybody is reasonably in character, because otherwise, why bother writing a fanfic?

Now all I have to do is work out how the lj-cut works.
