That is eaxctly the reason I only ever read fics when they're finished: Haribos, what else? Lol.
Hokum refers more to the fact that this is in no shape or form realistic. True, that can be said for fanfic in general, I suppose, but I'd like to think that my other fics managed to at least be somewhat realistic, i.e. they managed to live without shootings and teenage criminal masterminds. :-)
